Step 1:
EDIT FLASH ANIMATION: | Click for more details
Open the "flash.txt" file with Notepad or any text editor and edit "YOUR WEBSITE TITLE" with your name or company name. Be sure not to delete the "logo=". This will update the Flash header animation on all pages. If you wish to use a graphic logo, there are instructions later in this document.

Step 2:
EDIT FOOTER: | Click for more details
Open the "footer.js" in Notepad or any text editor and change the "Your Company" line with your website or company name. This will update the footer on all pages.

Step 3:
EDIT CONTACT INFO: | Click for more details
Open the "phone.js" in Notepad or any text editor and edit the company name, address, phone and fax number and e-mail address (2 places for the e-mail). This will update contact info on the contact page. This info is inside a .js file so search engines can not see your e-mail and you will receive less spam e-mails.

Step 4:
EDIT PAGES: | Software choices | Notepad Editing
Change the text on all pages with your website text. You can use a text editor like Notepad, Frontpage, Dreamweaver or any wysiwyg editor. Take care not to delete any of the HTML tags that surround the text. You will find notes inside each page to help you navigate. NOTE: You will not see the footer and header in some software because they are .js include files so you can globally edit the footer and menu.

Step 5:
EDIT PAGE TITLES, DESCRIPTIONS AND KEYWORDS: | Click for more details
Open each of the pages and change the page titles (at the very top of the page) and also the description and the keywords to match your product or service. You can edit one page and copy and paste to the other pages. Be careful to only change what's inside the " " so you don't disturb the html code. Page titles are very important so your site will get a good listing at Google, MSN and other search engines.

Step 6:
UPLOAD: | Click for more details
Upload the pages on to your hosting company's server using ftp software or Windows Explorer or your control panel. Be sure to upload the "picts" folder and all files in these folders.

Options:

USING A GRAPHIC LOGO:
To replace the Flash logo with a graphic logo: Delete or rename the "header.js". Rename the "graphic_logo_header.js" to "header.js". In the picts folder you will find a graphic called "logo.jpg". Edit this graphic with your logo image. The "logo.jpg" is now 600 pixels wide by 50 pixels high. You can make this image any size you would like. You will find some options inside the "header.js" for colors and expanding the logo area.

OPTIONS INSIDE THE MENU:
At the top of the "menu.js" there are some options you can turn on and off. One option is to show the image under the menu and there also is an option to show a text box under the menu. If you turn on the text you will edit this text near the bottom of the menu.js.

CHANGING LINKS / ADDING TO THE MENU: | Click for more details
You can change the names of the links like "about" or "links" to other names by editing the "menu.js" file in Notepad or any plain text editor. You will also find some links you can edit in the "footer.js".

When editing menu names do not change the name with the ".htm" after it. Whatever you edit in any menu .js file will update every page on the website. Keep menu names short if possible. Add more pages by copying one link in the "menu.js" and pasting it right below the next. Be sure to back up your files before editing them.

ADDING PAGES: | Click for more details
You can add pages to your website by copying and pasting any one of the pages and renaming it to whatever you need. You can then add links from the other pages or on the menu.

FONTS: | Click for more details
You can change your font colors and sizes by editing the "coolstyle.css" with a text editor. Change the "TABLE" px size to change the copy on all pages. Change the "title" px size to change all the title sizes. Click above for more help.

CHANGING THE GRAPHICS/PICTURES: | Click for more details
You can replace each HTML page picture with your own .jpg image. These pictures are now 750 x 125 pixels. You can use any size picture you want but it is recommended that you keep these images 750 pixels wide. Each HTML page includes it's own image. These are named according to the page they are on. You will find all pictures in the "picts" folder. Images on the news page are 60 x 60 pixels in size.

PAGE HEIGHTS:
So all your pages will maintain a standard height there is a "pageheight" variable inside the menu.js that you can edit.
